Last month on January 14 Sundiata graciously turned 68 years old. Yet, 
Sundiata has not only be given an additional 10 YEAR HIT as a result of the 
latest parole denial determined last August but also received no response 
from NJ-Gov. McGreevey before his leaving office regarding Sundiata's 
petition for clemency. He did not receive a death sentence but apparently
that is what some want him to have. But we are not done fighting for him.

An official at the governor's office stated that McGreevey had numerous 
petitions to review and if he did not "have time" to review Sundiata's it 
would be reviewed by the incoming governor, Richard Cody. Please continue 
to express your support by sending letters to Acting Gov. Cody reminding 
him of Sundiata's struggle to obtain his freedom. Our vocal support and 
love for Sundiata will continue.

It is time again for us to initiate our FIVE DOLLAR FUNDRAISER for Sundiata 
to help raise funds to offset expenses related to the appeal process.

The SAFC (Sundiata Acoli Freedom Campaign) FIVE DOLLAR FUNDRAISER is easy: 
Simply mail 5 Dollars (cash is fine if wrapped in paper) or more if you can 
afford to do so to the SAFC
Post Office box. Funds will be deposited into Sundiata's account to provide 
ongoing support to him and resources needed to continue the work. Checks
