Save Troy Davis
Take action!

Davis was sent to death row in 1991 for the shooting of a white 
police officer in Savannah. He is scheduled to be executed on October 
27. The Supreme Court declined to hear his appeal despite:
The conviction was based on NO physical evidence
The murder weapon was never found
7 out of 9 witnesses recanted their testimony or changed their story 
- many alleged coercion by the police
One of the witnesses may have been the murderer - of the two 
remaining witnesses against Davis, one has been implicated by nine 
people in sworn affidavits.

The Georgia Board of Pardon and Paroles denied clemency to Davis. 
Bishop Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Al Sharpton, and the Pope are 
among tens of thousands who have called on Georgia to retry Davis' case.

Join them in demanding a halt to the execution.
