[Ppnews] Tom Manning in surgery today

     Letting you know that Tom Manning is undergoing surgery on his 
knee today.  Cards or notes would be appreciated as he will have a 
long recovery from what we hope is successful knee replacement.  Tom 
has been in severe pain from injuries and arthritis for several 
years.  In case you missed the reception for  his artwork at the 
Brecht Forum last night it will be on display until mid June.  451

     Also Tom will have the opportunity to enroll in an art class, 
which will give him access to a studio to work in while at 
Springfield and funds to pay for his supplies are very much 
needed.  You can either send a donation to his commissary (see how at 
BOP website) or get him credit at: (or ask Tom what he prefers)
