We are happy to announce the release of the Certain Days: 2007 Freedom for
Political Prisoners Calendar!

Order online at www.certaindays.org!

The calendar features 42 pages of stunning artwork and insightful analysis.
This essential resource is packed with information, and makes a meaningful
gift - the gift of political education for family and friends, and the
gift of concrete financial support for our social justice movements.

This year¹s calendar is focused on the theme of immigration, and features
work by many political prisoners and their supporters, including cover
artist Tom Manning, David Gilbert, Herman Bell, Alvaro Hernandez, Mumia
Abu-Jamal, Jeffrey "Free" Luers, the MOVE 9, the Cuban 5, Gord Hill, GoreB,
Just Seeds, and more.

As always, the calendar is a fundraiser. This year¹s proceeds will benefit
the New York State Task Force on Political Prisoners, No One Is
Illegal-Kingston, and Addameer, a Palestinian prisoner solidarity group.

Help support this important project! Order now at
www.certaindays.org(special bulk and prisoner rates available), and
forward this message to all
of your comrades!

Yours in solidarity,

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CERTAIN DAYS: 2007 FREEDOM FOR POLITICAL
PRISONERS CALENDAR

The calendar is a joint fundraising and educational project between outside
organisers in Montreal, and three Political Prisoners being held in
maximum-security prisons in New York state: Herman Bell, David Gilbert and
Robert Seth Hayes. The initial project was suggested by Herman, and has been
shaped throughout the process by all of our ideas, discussions, and
analysis. All of the members of the outside collective are involved in
day-to-day organising work other than the calendar, on issues ranging from
refugee and immigrant solidarity to community media to prisoner justice. We
work from an anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, feminist, queer
and trans positive position.

Today's anti-war, anti-globalisation, and anti-colonial movements are rooted
in the history of earlier struggles for justice, including the mass
movements of the 60s and 70s. Many of the Political Prisoners and Prisoners
of War featured in this calendar were organisers during that period: members
of the Black Panther Party, or the American Indian Movement; Puerto Ricans
fighting for their homeland, or white anti-racist allies working in
solidarity with oppressed peoples. Some of them have been in prison SINCE
THAT TIME - 30 years or more. Yet these prisoners are not relics of past
movements; they are still active in their political work, and despite the
hardships of organising in prison, they continue to organise for justice in
the
present day, justice behind bars and justice on the streets. This calendar
is our tribute to them.

Free all Political Prisoners!
Free all Prisoners of War!
