All of Us or None member Ed Mead is the editor of California Prison Focus
newsletter and made this request for help.  Many of us received this
newsletter while we were in prison, and we know how important this
publication is to everyone inside -- and out.


The mailing party for the next issue of the Prison Focus newsletter will be
this Sunday, May 21st at 10:00 am and will continue all day long. Come give
us a hand. Meet us at California Prison Focus, 2940 16th Street #B-5 (that¹s
in the basement), San Francisco, CA  94103. If you have a problem finding us

Also, on Wednesday night (May 17th) psychiatrist Terry Coopers will be
discussing the adverse psychological effects of long-term SHU confinement,
and Ed Mead will tell the story of how in 1978 prisoners at the Washington
State Penitentiary shut down a SHU and transformed it into a preferred
housing unit.
