There will be caravan of cars and buses this Thursday, February 19, to
lobby legislators in Sacramento on the issues of Oscar Grant and
police killings (revising the "Police Bill of Rights"), repressive
gang laws, reforming Three Strikes, and the SF8.

Buses and cars will be leaving from East Palo Alto (7:30 a.m.), San
Francisco Bayview (Third Street and Revere, 8:00 a.m.), San Francisco
State, the Olivet Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland (8:00 a.m.),
the Del Norte BART station in Richmond (8:30 a.m.), and other
rendezvous locations.

The caravan will arrive at the Capitol at 10:30 a.m. and participants
will lobby until about 1:00 before returning, arriving back in the Bay
Area around 4:00. More details as they become available.

A town hall meeting to build for the caravan will be held tomorrow,
Tuesday 2/17 with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at Olivet
Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland at 7:00 p.m. I will send the
flyer separately since some email servers may not relay it.

This will be the first of a series of planned Caravans for Justice
focussing on various aspects of the "justice" system.
